INDIANS RUN OVER BY MAROONS

The Robinson Maroons ran for 305 yards and did not throw a pass Friday night as they shut out the Lawrenceville Football Indians 37-0 on Homecoming night. They also won the first ever Lawrence-Crawford County Shrine Game between the teams. The Little Illini Conferences leading rusher Tyler Beard ran for 220 yards and scored three touchdowns including a kickoff return to lead the way. The Tribe were held to 117 yards in total offense on the night with Christian Beamon running for 46 yards on 17 carries. The Indians suffered their fourth straight loss to fall to 1-6 while Robinson improved to 3-4. The Indians are at home Friday to host the Red Hill Salukis in the annual Oilfield Trophy game at Ed Loeb Field.
