COOLER WEATHER COMING

The National Weather Service in Lincoln Illinois says that cooler temperatures are on the way for the WAKO listening area. A strong cold front will move across Southeastern Illinois and Southwestern Indiana as the day continues. Temperatures will drop throughout Friday and get into the 40s by evening. Overnight temperatures in some areas could dip into the mid-30s with a chance of light frost. The cooler conditions are expected to continue this weekend with clearing skies.
