The Vincennes University Board of Trustees met Monday on campus in Vincennes and awarded contracts for the construction of Phase One of the approximately $8 million dollar French Quarter Student Housing Project. Wolfe Construction of Vincennes was awarded contracts for the four buildings and Kerns Excavating the contract for the ground work at the project location on Hart Street. Phase One involves 66 units with 200 total bedrooms and 239 parking spaces. It is anticipated that groundbreaking could occur in as soon as two to three weeks.
