Toyota Boshoku Illinois has requested that the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency issue a Revised Lifetime Operating Permit regulating the air emissions from its interior auto parts manufacturing plant located on 100 Trim Masters Drive east of Lawrenceville. The Illinois EPA has made a preliminary determination that the application would comply with the environmental regulations and has prepared a draft permit for public review and comment. The Illinois EPA is now accepting comments on the draft revision permit until 12 p.m. Saturday November 2nd 2019. If there is sufficient comment expressed regarding the permit, there could be a public hearing scheduled.
