VINCENNES MAN CHARGED IN FATAL CRASH

The Knox County Indiana Prosecutors Office has announced that a Vincennes man has now been charged in the June fatal accident that killed a Freelandville couple. 27 year old Joshua Roark was traveling south on Indiana State Road 159 on June 12th when he veered across the center line and struck a vehicle containing John and Rita Buck both 71 head-on. The Bucks died in the collision. Roark was also hurt. Further investigation by the Indiana State Police revealed that he was driving under the influence of methamphetamine. Roark now faces two counts of Causing Death While Driving Under the Influence of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance, a Level 4 Indiana felony. He did turn himself in at the Knox County Jail after a warrant was issued for his arrest.  Roark posted bond and was released.
