The Lawrence County Hospital Board of Directors met Tuesday night and heard about the business plan from Chief Executive Officer Don Robbins. He briefed the members on the plan and what is being emphasized in it. The business plan is an integral part of the hospital overall strategic plan for the future. The board did approved some capital equipment purchases recommended by it’s finance committee. Approximately $222,000 will be used to obtain endoscopy equipment and bids will be sought for bone density equipment for around $51,000.
