MAJOR SOUTHWEST INDIANA DRUG BUST

A major drug bust in Southwestern Indiana Thursday. A nine month investigation into a Gibson County Indiana-based methamphetamine drug ring has resulted in the arrests of 23 people. The Princeton Police Department, Indiana State Police, and the Drug Enforcement Agency in cooperation with the Gibson County Prosecutors Office served the warrants on a number of charges ranging from conspiracy to deal methamphetamine to possession of marijuana and drug paraphenalia. In addition to the arrests, authorities seized about one pound of meth, firearms, and around $10,000 in cash. And the investigation is still on-going with more arrests anticipated.
