The Vincennes City Fire Department was called out early Wednesday morning to a structure fire. Units were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. Eastern time to the fire location at 9th and Seminary Streets. The vacant home had smoke and fire coming from the roof upon arrival. Firefighters were on the scene until the late morning hours. A cause had not been determined and there was no damage estimate given. There were no reported injuries.
