Highly touted Chicago Cub prospect Nico Hoerner had three hits and four RBI in his big league debut Monday night in San Diego to lead them to a 10-2 win over the Padres at Petco Park. The 22 year old was the Cubs first round pick out of Stanford in 2018. He was called up from Double-A Tennessee earlier Monday due to injuries to Javier Baez and Addison Russell. Nicholas Castellanos hit a two run homer in the first and Kyle Schwarber added a solo shot in the fifth as the Cubs snapped a three game losing skid. Game two of the series is Tuesday night with Jose Quintana (13-8) going for the Cubs against Ronald Bolanos (0-1) for the Padres.
