Patty M. Bellinger, age 84, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 06, 2019 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1935 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Charles B. Schultz and Dorothy May Cummins Schultz. She married LeLand “Leon” Bellinger on June 10, 1950, and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1999.
Patty was a homemaker and a member of the Wesleyan Christian Church in Lawrenceville. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother with a kind gentle spirit.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Leon; one daughter, Robin Gail Williams; two brothers, Darrell Max Schultz and Kenneth Schultz; two sisters, Velda Scott and Lucille Rone; and one granddaughter, Meredith; one great-grandson, Trevor.
Survivors include four daughters, Marlene Walker of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Pamela (Mike) Scaggs of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Brenda Campbell of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Patty (Tracy) Thompson of Springfield, Missouri; three brothers, Charles Leon (Dee) Schultz of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Robert Eugene (Grace) Schultz of Demont, Indiana, and Perry Keith (Beverly) Schultz of Terre Haute, Indiana; two sisters, Clara Conway of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Nancy (Travis) Wilson of Robinson, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
