A Crawford County woman was sentenced this week in court to more than 10 years in prison for her part in the death of her mother. Kristine Phillipe was given 18 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections to be followed by 3 years of mandatory supervised release for Home Invasion, a Class X Illinois felony. She along with Jason Strawbridge were arrested last year by authorities after 62 year old Sandra Kendall was discovered shot to death in her Bellair home in rural Crawford County. Last month Strawbridge was sentenced to 45 years in prison after being convicted of murder in the case.
