CROSS COUNTRY TEAM HOSTS HOME MEET

The Lawrenceville-Red Hill Cross Country Indians hosted their first home meet of the season Thursday at the Lawrenceville City Park. Both the boys and girls ran in one combined race. Richland County won with 24 points with the Indians second with 35. Palestine-Hutsonville and Flora did not have enough runners for team scores. For the Indians Brayden Green finished first in 17:22.18, Trevor Parker was third in 18:37.24, and Seth Seitzinger was eighth in 20:32.78. In the girls competition Katie Moore was first in 21:57.84, Ophelia Klein second in 22:55.43, and Cara Eagleson was third in 22:59.38. The squad will run again next Tuesday in a multi-team meet at Olney.
