A Sikeston Missouri truck driver was sentenced to prison this week in Clay County Illinois for his involvement in a traffic crash in Flora in which two Richland County men were killed. 64 year old Walter Pollack was given 11 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to Aggravated Driving under the Influence of Drugs a Class 2 Illinois felony. He also will be on two years of mandatory supervised release after prison and must make restitution in the case. Pollock will begin serving his sentence immediately. In July of 2017 Pollack was the cause of a multi-vehicle accident in Flora in which 29 year old Eric Bosel of Noble and 27 year old Jacob Russell of Olney died.
