CRAWFORD COUNTY MURDER SENTENCING

The man charged with the death of a Crawford County woman was sentenced Monday. Jason Strawbridge was given 45 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for first degree murder. He was charged after the killing of 62 year old Sandra Kendall last year. In addition to the prison term Strawbridge will be on three years of mandatory supervised release. He must serve all the sentence. Kendall’s daughter Kristine Phillipe was also implicated in the murder and plead guilty to a lesser charge of home invasion. She is scheduled to be sentenced next week on Wednesday September 4th.
