The Red Hill Junior High Miss Saluki softball team and the Red Hill Junior High Baseball Salukis both dropped home contests Monday. The Miss Salukis lost for the first time this season dropping a 4-2 decision to tough Casey at Leigh Ann Westall Field. They are now at 3-1 on the season and travel to Albion Wednesday. The Baseball Salukis were handled by Casey 12-2 in 5 innings in their home opener at the Tank Farm. Casey scored 12 runs on 10 hits with no errors while the hosts were held to 2 runs on 3 hits and 4 errors. Dalton Spahn had two of the three hits and Jesse Buchanon added an RBI single. They drop to 0-2 and will head to Albion Wednesday.
