TORNADO TOUCHDOWN IN SULLIVAN COUNTY

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has confirmed that an EF-1 tornado did touch down earlier this week in southwestern Indiana. The touchdown occured in rural Sullivan County near Graysville around 12:44 a.m. Tuesday. It traveled northeast and caused damage to several corn fields and downed trees. An EF-1 tornano is classified as one with wind speeds between 85 and 110 miles per hour.
