The Bridgeport City Council has approved seeking a 5 year loan to help cover the cost of the sewer lagoon project. Mayor Michael Craske reported Tuesday night that the bid for the project came in at around $850,000 to $900,000. The state grant to the city was around $468,000. The city will also use some money saved through the increase in sewer rates but will need additional monies to get the project completed on time. The loan will be sought through Peoples State Bank.
