The Illinois State Police District 12 in Effingham has announced they will conduct occupant restraint enforcement patrols in Lawrence and Crawford counties for the remainder of the month of August. Those patrols will focus on safety belt and child safety seat laws. Illinois law requires that all vehicle passengers (front and back) be buckled up.
