NEW CUB KEYS WIN OVER REDS

New Chicago Cub outfielder Nicholas Castellanos blasted a pair of solo homers among his three hits and Anthony Rizzo celebrated his 30th birthday Thursday night with two hits to lead the team to a 12-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds in game one of their four game series at the Great American Ballpark. Ian Happ also had a big offensive night with a two run single and two run homer to drive in four in the win. The Cubs increased their lead in the NL Central to 3 1/2 over idle Milwaukee. Game two is Friday night with Yu Darvish (4-5) going for the Cubs and Trevor Bauer (9-8) going for the Reds.
