LCMH BOARD APPROVES NEW LOGO

The Lawrence County Memorial Hospital Board met in regular session Tuesday and did approve a new logo for the medical facility in Lawrenceville. Hospital Chief Executive Officer Don Robbins says the the current logo is about 10 years old and there was a desire to change it to reflect the new affilliation with Deaconess Illinois. Two logos were voted upon by hospital employees with the most popular being brought to the board and approved. It will be officially unveiled in the next couple of weeks. In other actions the board approved the purchase of a labratory analyzer for approximately $73,000. Two physicians were approved for credentialing . Derek McCullough and John Hamilton were both reappointed to the hospitals E and D Foundation and two new appointments-Debra Miller and Gayle Billingsley were also approved to the Foundation.
