The Illinois Department of Public Health is warning Lawrence County teens and others across the area about the dangers of vaping after three teens were hospitalized. Those teens were from the northeastern part of Illinois and experienced severe breathing problems after vaping. State health officials say that many people incorrectly assume that vaping is a safe alternative to cigarette smoking. More investigative research is being done on the subject.
