Lawrence County States Attorney Michael Strange announced Friday that a Wabash County man has been sentenced to prison in Lawrence County. 27 year old James Breen of Mt Carmel was given 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Burglary a Class 4 Illinois felony. He had previously been placed on probation for the offense but admitted to violating the terms of the probation. In addition to the prison term Breen will be on 2 years of mandatory supervised release and must pay all fines and court costs.
