The Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Governors on Thursday voted to approve a six year contract with Alpha Laser and Imaging of Evansville for new printers/copiers and multi-functional device service and maintenence. The hospital’s current contract with Ricoh is set to expire and moving to Alpha will provide an upgrade to the hospitals current service. Good Samaritan’s current equipment will be traded in for a discounted price. The total cost of the six year deal is $852,835. Hospital officials say that the new contract will provide an annual savings of approximately $120,000.
