Lawrence County golfer Camren Ray will be in Florida next week to compete in the Optimist International Junior Golf 14-15 old Boys Tournament. Ray qualified for the tournament earlier in the year by winning the Illinois District Junior Golf championship in Decatur at the Red Tail Run Country Club. Check-in and registration for the International tournament takes place Sunday at the Trump Doral Resort and Spa in Miami. Practice rounds will be on Monday and the first round of play is on Tuesday, second round Wednesday and the final round Thursday with the awards ceremony to follow.
