The Lawrence Unit 20 Board of Education met in regular session Wednesday evening and with the new school term rapidly approaching approved the Illinois Department of Transportation Safety Hazards policy in regard to bus transportation for district students mandated by state law. Also approved were the Parkview Junior High and Lawrenceville High School handbooks and the Lawrenceville High School Athletic Code. Brooke Ray was named as new LHS volleyball coach and Brad Bobe as new LHS golf coach. Superintendent Doug Daugherty also indicated that the Parkside Road repair project had been completed.
