SCHWARBER WALKOFF HOMER DOWNS REDS

Kyle Schwarber hit a solo home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Chicago Cubs a 4-3 comeback win Tuesday night over the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field. He stroked a 1-1 pitch from closer Raisel Iglesias into the basket in front of the left field bleachers for his 21st homer of the season and first ever walkoff homer. Robel Garcia and Kris Bryant also connected for the Cubs in the win. Eugenio Suarez homered again for the Reds who squandered an early lead. The series is even at a game apiece with the rubber game Wednesday afternoon. The pitching pairing has Sonny Gray (5-5) going for the Reds and Yu Darvish (2-4) for the Cubs.
