Jason Heyward hit the go ahead homer and Albert Almora Jr and Kyle Schwarber went deep back to back to power the Chicago Cubs to an 8-3 win Sunday afternoon over the Pittsburgh Pirates and complete a three game weekend sweep. The Cubs at one time trailed 3-1 but rallied to pick up their first series sweep since early June against St Louis. Jose Quintana started for the Cubs and allowed three runs on six hits in six innings to pick up his third straight win. The Cubs extended their lead in the NL Central to 2 1/2 games over Milwaukee. The Cubs will stay at Wrigley to open a three game series against the Cincinnati Reds Monday night. It will be Luis Castillo (8-3) going for the Reds against Kyle Hendricks (7-7) for the Cubs.
