Former Robinson High School and University of Illinois product Meyers Leonard has been traded. He was part of a four way deal between his original team-the Portland Trailblazers, the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers. The 7 foot Leonard was sent to the Heat with the Blazers getting Hassan Whiteside in return. Leonard was drafted by Portland with the 11th pick in the 2012 NBA draft and had spent 7 season with the team averaging around 6 points and 4 rebounds per game while playing primarily off the bench. He was in the final year of his contract.
