Authorities are investigating the death of a Lawrenceville woman who was found inside her apartment Tuesday evening. Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call at around 5:00 on Tuesday evening. The Lawrenceville Police Department and the Illinois State Police Zone 7 responded to the call and found the woman, who was identified as 21 year-old Paige Aten. Aten’s cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing and will be conducted by Illinois State Police.
