Wabash County State’s Attorney Cassandra Goldman announced that a Mt. Carmel man was sentenced in Wabash County Circuit Court this week. 54 year-old Alvin Addison was re-sentenced to four-and-a-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. Addison had previously been placed on two-and-a-half years of felony probation; but admitted to violating the terms of his probation. Addison’s prison sentence will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Addison is also required to pay fines as well as court costs.
