CUBS BEAT WHITE SOX BEHIND CONTRERAS BIG NIGHT

Willson Contreras homered twice with one of those being a grand slam and drove in five runs Wednesday night to spur the Chicago Cubs to a 7-3 win over the White Sox in the finale of their two game interleague series at Wrigley Field. David Bote also went deep for the Cubs who denied Lucas Giolito his ninth win in a row. Jon Lester went six inning for the Cubs to pick up the win. The Cubs remain at Wrigley as they return to National League play Thursday night with the first of a three game series against the New York Mets.
