Illinois State Police District 12 Commander Captain Cory Ristvedt announced the results of Occupant Restraint Enforcement Patrols held in Richland and Lawrence counties during May. These patrols provided extra patrol coverage for the State Police so officers could focus on saving lives by making sure all vehicle occupants were buckled up. There were 28 Safety Belt Citations, 33 Total Citations and 24 Total Written Warnings.
