CUBS SNAP ROCKIES WIN STREAK

Kyle Schwarber and Javier Baez homered to back the solid pitching of Kyle Hendricks and lead the Chicago Cubs to a 6-3 win over the Colorado Rockies at Wrigley Field Tuesday night. The win was the second in a row for the Cubs and snapped an eight game Colorado winning streak. Former Rockie Carlos Gonzalez added 2 RBI for the Cubs in the win. Hendricks improved to 6-4 allowing three runs and six hits and struck out 10. Pedro Strop pitched the ninth for his fifth save. Game two of the series is Wednesday night with German Marquez (6-2) going for Colorado and Yu Darvish (2-3) for the Cubs.
