Officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation have announced that State Road 61 east of Vincennes will be closed starting today for a bridge replacement project. State Road 61 will be closed between Johnson Farm Road and County Road 300 South so the deck of a bridge crossing Kelso Creek can be replaced. The official detour will be State Road 241, U.S. 50 and U.S. 41. Work on the bridge is expected to be wrapped up by the early part of August … at the earliest.
