CUBS RALLY TO WALK OFF AGAINST PHILLIES

Pinch-hitter Javier Baez single capped a two run bottom of the ninth inning rally and lifted the Chicago Cubs to a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday night at Wrigley Field. The win snapped a four game Phillies winning streak. Kris Bryant had three hits and scored two of the Cub runs. Kyle Ryan (1-1) picked up the win in relief while Juan Nicasio (0-2) lost for Philadelphia. Andrew McCutcheon drove in both of the Phillies runs in the top of the seventh. Game three of the four game set will be under the lights Wednesday with Cole Irvin (2-0) pitching for the Phillies and Cole Hamels (4-0) for the Cubs.
