Two Arrested Following Traffic Stop in Washington

   Two people were arrested following a traffic stop in Washington Monday night. Washington Police stopped a vehicle driven by Gerban Ozoa. Ozoa was found to be wanted on a Martin County warrant for false informing, and driving without ever receiving a license. A passenger in the vehicle, Ernie Torres, was wanted on a Daviess County warrant for operating without ever receiving a license. A further search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded 22-caliber handgun, meth, syringes, and drug paraphernalia. Ozoa and Torres were both charged for illegal possession of the gun, and the drug possession charges. Both men were taken to the Daviess County Security Center.
