The Lawrenceville Lady Softball Indians picked up two wins Saturday at Olney. They completed a suspended LIC game with Olney beating the Lady Tigers 9-1 behind the pitching of Melody Lockhart. Caitlyn Wells and Maize Organ each had two hits in the victory. The Lady Indians also knocked off Oblong 8-4 behind the mound work of Abby Gartner. Kaitlyn Higginbotham led the way with 3 hits, Chaylee Shick, Jayley Akers and Wells each had 2 hits with Wells driving in 3 runs. The Lady Indians will enter into post-season play Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. when they play Mt Carmel in a semi-final of the four team Class 2A Flora Regional at Mike Jennings Field.
