Jordan Lyles struck out 10 batters in 6 innings and Francisco Cervelli and Starling Marte both homered off Yu Darvish to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 5-2 win over the Chicago Cubs Wednesday night at Wrigley Field. Lyles allowed 3 hits and walked only 1 in the victory. Jason Heyward had three hits including a solo homer for the Cubs in the loss. Darvish fell to 0-2 with the loss allowing 5 runs-4 earned-and 5 hits in 5 1/3 innings with 4 strikeouts and no walks. The game was played with a temperature of 40 degrees and the wind blowing in from center field at 20 mph. The Cubs will look to take 2 of 3 in the series Thursday in the finale again under the lights. Joe Musgrove (1-0) will pitch for the Pirates and Jose Quintana (0-0) for the Cubs.
