Brian McCann had a two run single in a four run first inning to propel the Atlanta Braves to an 8-0 win over the Chicago Cubs in the opener of their three game series at Suntrust Park Monday night. Ender Inciarte and Ronald Acuna Jr homered off Cub statrter and loser Kyle Hendricks (0-1). He gave up 7 runs on 10 hits with 3 walks in 4 1/3 innings. The Braves also took advantage of 6 Cub errors. The Cubs are now 1-3 and have lost three straight. They have the day off Tuesday before resuming the three game series Wednesday night.
