Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that a Vincennes man was sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 23 year-old Derek L. Bruce of Vincennes was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle. That will be followed by two years of mandatory supervised release. Bruce is also required to pay court costs.
