Lawrence County State’s Attorney Michael Strange announced that a Lawrenceville man was sentenced in Lawrence County Circuit Court this week. 44 year-old Mark S. Garner of Lawrenceville was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine. That will be followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Garner is also required to pay a $500 drug assessment as well as court costs.
