Caitlyn Bowersock of the Red Hill Lady Basketball Salukis was second in the “Queen of the Hill” three point shooting competition Saturday at the Girls Class 3A and 4A state finals at Redbird Arena in Normal. The junior hit 8 of her three point shots to tied for second with Class 1A champion Jayden Mitchell of Flanagan. Bowersock was the Class 2A champion. The winner was Class 4A champion Taylor Goss of Pekin who made 9 threes on the day. Class 3A champion Lilly Oliver of Freeburg made seven to finish fourth.
