A Claremont woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident in Lawrence County Saturday night. 54 year-old Carla Plummer was driving west on Highway 50 west of King Hills Road when she veered off the roadway and ran into some trees. Plummer was injured and taken to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. A passenger in her vehicle was not hurt. Lawrence County authorities charged Plummer with driving under the influence.
