The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department reports a Loogootee man died Friday night after falling through the ice while fishing near Cannelburg. Emergency personnel were called to 10240 East 500 South shortly after 7:00 PM. 55-year-old Roger Williams was recovered from the water. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
