Vincennes Police arrested a Lawrenceville man for drug possession following a traffic stop Sunday. Police tried to stop a car driven by 25 year-old Douglas Rutkowski. Rutkowski allegedly tried to elude police before finally being stopped in the 13-hundred block of Busseron. Rutkowski was found to be driving on a suspended license. He was also found to be in possession of a syringe. Rutkowski was taken to the Knox County Jail.
