The Lawrenceville Lady Basketball Indians will play for the consolation championship of the Little Illini Conference Girls basketball tournament. They made their way to that game with a 54-28 win over Robinson Wednesday in semi-final play at Newton. Chaylee Shick pumped in 19 points to pace the Lady Indians to the victory. With the win, the squad improves to 12-10 and will meet host Newton Thursday at 5 p.m. The Lady Eagles advanced with a 49-40 semi-final win over the Red Hill Lady Salukis. Katie Moore scored 14 and Caitlyn Bowersock 10 for the Lady Salukis in the loss. They bow out of the tournament with a 6-8 mark and will be back in action Monday at Edwards County.
