The Marshall Lions dealt the Red Hill Basketball Salukis a conference loss Tuesday night in Bridgeport 78-71. The visitors used a strong third quarter to break open a tight game and pick up the win. Drew Moore led the Dawgs with 25 points, Parker Havill added 17 and Drake Allen 10. With the loss, the Salukis fall to 14-7 overall and 2-3 in LIC play. Marshall improves to 14-6 overall and 3-2 in the LIC. Marshall also won the JV contest 41-27. Next action for the Salukis is Saturday in the Little Illini Conference tournament quarterfinals at Flora. The fifth seeded Salukis will meet fourth seeded Robinson at 4:30 p.m.
