Eric W. Earnst, 40, of Sumner, IL passed away Sunday December 30, 2018 at Aperion Care in Bridgeport, IL.
He was born July 21, 1978 in Brazil, IN the son of Roger and Cheryl (Michael) Earnst.
Eric worked at Richland Manufacturing in Olney, IL as a fork truck driver. He was a member of the Christian Church of Sumner, IL. Eric was a unique person, and he knew and liked everybody. He was known for his kindness and good deeds toward others. He was devoted to his church. He was a loving son, father, and brother. He was always high spirited and a joy to be around no matter what he was facing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Earnst.
Survivors include, his father, Roger Earnst of Sumner, IL; a son, Bryce Allen Earnst of Mt. Carmel, IL; step-son, Caleb Angle of Mt Carmel, IL; step-daughter, Sarah Wyatt of Lawrenceville, IL; brother, Christopher Earnst and his wife Jamie and their children, Arick and Emily Kern of Owensville, IN; Uncles: Larry Michael of Cromwell, IN, and Roland Earnst and his wife Judy of Buchanan, MI.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday January 3, 2019 at 11:00am at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday January 2, 2019 from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Sumner Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to the Christian Church of Sumner.
