Oaktown citizens turned out Thursday night for a meeting todiscuss the possibility of forming a community watch group in due to a recent rash of break–ins and thefts in the North Knox area. Outgoing County Sheriff Mike Morris held the session, with residents discussing ways of preventing the incidents, and reporting those responsible to authorities. The suspects are still at large. Anyone with information on the incidents is encouraged to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Department.
