William Lee “Billy” Johnson, age 48 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at his home. He was born March 18, 1970 in Santa Clara, California to Michael and Marianne (Lee) Johnson.
On September 22, 2001, Billy married Amy Ward in Camarillo, California, and she survives.
Billy attended the New Hope Christian Church and was a part of the Foundry of Faith men’s group. He enjoyed sports, cooking and BINGO. He also loved watching the sports his kids participated in.
Surviving relatives include: his wife- Amy Johnson of Lawrenceville: five children Amanda Espinoza and husband Danny of Sacramento, CA, Victoria Johnson, William Lee Johnson II, Kristina Johnson, and Samantha Johnson all of Lawrenceville: one brother- Christian Johnson of Anderson, IN: one sister- Melissa Johnson of Lawrenceville: two nieces- Amber Moore of Bridgeport and Emily Johnson of Robinson: one nephew- Zephaniah Johnson of Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Michael Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the New Hope Christian Church in Bridgeport. There will be a reception held in the New Hope Christian Church fellowship hall following the memorial service. Cunningham-Young Funeral Home is assisting the family.
